There are two tiers of screenwriter memberships, Guild and Non-Guild.

Non-guild members must host at least one screenplay or pilot ($30/script/month) in order for their membership to be active. We also encourage, but do not require, the purchase of at least one paid evaluation from our readers ($100/read for features and 1-hr pilots, $70/read for half-hour or less pilots). Only hosted scripts can receive evaluations.

Guild members must list information for at least one script to have an active membership. They are not required to host a script or purchase an evaluation, but may do so at a discount (20% off monthly hosting and evaluations).

Script Hosting: Hosting makes your script available to our industry members to download and read.

Script Evaluations: Evaluations are each completed by one of our paid readers and include numerical scores and abbreviated qualitative feedback.

Are you ready to register?
If you don't have a completed feature screenplay or television pilot, you're probably not ready to make an account. You can still use our resources. Check out our FAQ for more information.

I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age and have read and understand the Privacy Policy and Use Policy, and I agree to be bound by their terms.

Do I qualify for industry membership?

Black List industry memberships are currently limited to working industry professionals, including but not limited to agents, managers, producers, and financiers. It is important that we limit industry membership to those who can materially advance a writer's career or individual project.

Industry memberships are approved by our team personally. In most cases you will receive a notification about your application within a few weeks, if not sooner. But if you do not hear back from us in that time, feel free to contact us at [email protected]
