On a hot day in LA, Max, a failed writer-slash-drug delivery man, steals a stash of dope from his boss to pay for a trip back East to care for his dying mother. Along with his dead brother, that he shot, in the trunk of his car, Max tries to quickly sell off the hot stash while also trying to track down his estranged girlfriend for some much needed closure.
