Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Samuel Wootton attended California State University Long Beach where he obtained his BA in Creative Writing and Comparative World Literature, and later UCLA where he received his MFA in Screenwriting and was awarded The NATO Fellowship in Film. Being a fourth generation Californian, he hopes to build upon the legacy of Los Angeles' rich cultural history.
After years of refinement, his script, IN THE VALLEY, is making rounds on the desks of top management companies and producers whose credits include A24 produced films.
