Robert P. Young is a graduate of Harvard's Visual and Environmental Studies Film Program. A Detroit, MI native, Young's involvement with filmmaking began at the mature age of two, as the star of his father's elaborate home videos. Young began to pursue filmmaking in more sophisticated projects starting late in high school, experimenting with martial arts shorts.
At Harvard, he had the opportunity to work with 16 mm film and digital video, producing several short documentaries and narrative pieces. "Cooking to Live", Young's senior thesis film, was screened in the 2006 New England Film & Video Festival.
