Biography

Richard B. Pierre is a multiracial Black filmmaker who has directed over a dozen short films that have screened in festivals worldwide. Richard’s first feature-length screenplay 'Crooked' was selected as a quarter-finalist for the 2009 Nicholl Fellowship, sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. His newest fiction short, "An Uninvited Guest" won BEST THRILLER at the 2020 HollyShorts Film Festival and is nominated for a 2021 Golden Sheaf Award for best short subject fiction.
