Nicholas is an associate member of the Australian writers' guild. Nicholas has written over twenty unproduced feature-length screenplays as part of the expression of his passion for screenplay writing.
Nicholas believes in the value of getting high-quality training both formally and informally. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia where he learned Scriptwriting, filmmaking, Art history among other courses that positioned him for a lifetime of screenplay writing. The School of Arts it's often considered the first art School in Sydney. The school is one of the top two in Australia and ranked among the top 30 art schools in the world.
Nicholas became interested in the Avant-garde ideas and concepts while at art school. He particularly enjoyed film studies in contemporary American film, German Expressionist film and film Battleship Potemkin made by the legends of cinema like Sergei Eisenstein. He likewise committed to film studies like the short 1929 French silent surrealist film "Un Chien Andalou" directed by Luis Buñuel. Artist Salvador Dalí also had a profound effect on him.
Nicholas made his first 8mm film when he was 18 using toy figurines he found around his home and his sister's roller skates. The toys were characters in a pretend war with each other, and the roller skates served as tanks.
Nicholas' goal is to holistically live a successful life at work and home while gaining vital experience as a screenplay writer and actor. Consequently, he wishes to deploy those skills and expertise to see a transformation in the movie industry.
