Megan Sass (she/they) is a writer, comedian, musician, and Bible teacher. Her pilot, Bible Park, won the 2022 ISA Table Read My Screenplay for Comedy, and has placed in many other competitions including Final Draft Big Break, WeScreenplay TV Lab, Stage32, and the Emerging Screenwriters Genre Competition. Both her pilot Bible Park, and her play, In the Middle, placed in the second round of the 2022 Austin Film Festival. On stage, her NYC Fringe Festival musical The Mad Scientist’s Guide To Romance, Robots, and Soul-Crushing Loneliness was a TimeOutNYC Critic’s Pick, and her one-act Fan-Boy was a finalist in the Samuel French OOB Festival. While she is as committed to her uncertainty in her belief in God as she is to her uncertainty in her belief in gender, she has worked as a Hebrew School teacher, specializing in comedy and superhero inspired curricula.
