Marianda was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She studied Ocean Systems Management at MIT, in Cambridge, MA. Worked as a shipbroker for 2 years and as an Investment Banker for another 15 years. Eventually she quit the financial world and opened her own boutique art hotel in beautiful Naxos island. Being self-employed allows her to work full time on what she loves best; screenwriting.
