Writer/Director Maria Gigante's short films have screened at more than 60 festivals around the world. Her film GIRLS ROOM won numerous awards, including runner-up for an MTV Movie Award in 2007. These days, Maria is focused on writing feature scripts and TV pilots while teaching film and screenwriting courses at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
