Kevin attended the Glasgow School of Art where he wrote and directed his first short film, Identical. The science fiction film was awarded the British Academy Scotland New Talent Award for Sound in 2015 and screened at the Grosvenor Cinema in Glasgow. He has just graduated as ‘student of the year’ on the MA TV Fiction Writing programme at Glasgow Caledonian University with a scholarship from Warner Bros. Creative Talent. Kevin recently wrote and directed a short comedy monologue, When Pish Comes to Shove, for BBC Writersroom and BBC Scotland and has been commissioned to script for a new Digital Drama pilot for BBC Scotland. His pilot script Bad Influence made it to the finals of the ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship in 2020.
