Biography
Joy Hui Lin is a half-Chinese half-Thai American screen and TV writer whose ancestors were famous for their prowess in battle. She was a Fulbright nominee to Sweden and was awarded a full-ride merit-based scholarship for University of Arkansas's MFA program.
BEA & THE BAKU


A lonely girl's mother is in a coma nearing the point at which recovery is unlikely. On a field trip, the 10-year-old girl, Bea (short for Beatrice), enters a fantasy world where she is a princess in search for a cure for her mother by sea with her loyal crew. In order to find that cure Bea faces the legendary Monkey King, gods and goddesses, pirates, daemons and the mouth of hell itself.
