Biography

I went to work with Milos Forman after he saw my NYU thesis film, Song for My Sister which won 2nd Prize Dramatic at the National Student Film Festival at Lincoln Center. I co-wrote and assisted Forman on Taking Off which received WGA Nomination for Best Original Comedy, directed Hungry for the Cure in the inaugural class of directors at the A.F.I., worked on features in L.A. for Elaine May, John Cassavetes, Milos Forman, and producer Michael Hausman, work as the field producer for KFBB-TV in Great Falls, MT. for 3 years, won two Montana Great Addies, Associate Produced award winning documentary, Peacock's War, wrote lyrics and co-directed music videos for Interscope, wrote a Carmen Miranda screenplay, a gun legislation script for Paramount, adapted Ed Abbey's two novels, directed two documentaries for the California Arts Council, two for the Thacher School, directed Gala videos for the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, directed two Santa Barbara International Film Festival official entries: Free and Alive, and Soul of the City,, co-produced a web campaign and a documentary for Save the Yellowstone Grizzly: The Beast of Our Time which premiered at the Santa Barbara film festival in 2021.
