Biography

I have been in education–primarily high school–for my entire career. After teaching English and writing, I moved to an administrative position and now serve as a dean and director of educational technology, but I still teach creative writing every summer. Writing has always been my passion. It was after becoming a mother that I realized pursuing my dreams of traditional publication needed to be a priority because my children are watching me. I am a member of SCBWI, an active participant in both Adrienne Young's Writing with the Soul community and Beth Revis's and Cristin Terrill's Wordsmith Workshops community.
