After building a successful career in the health and fitness industry, Jeff decided to finally pursue his passion for storytelling by earning his MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. Jeff has a deep portfolio of screenplays that cover a range of genres and themes intertwining compelling stories of tragedy, triumph and the human spirit with deeply multi-layered themes and his unique perspective of wit and emotion. Jeff’s timely screenplay UPRISING recently won the 2020 UCLA Screenwriting Showcase, was a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, a Quarterfinalist for CineStory and currently a Finalist for the Outfest Screenwriting Lab. He is the writer and producer of BLOOD IS THICKER which is currently in pre-production. As an LGBTQ+ activist, Jeff strives to create stories and push forward the voices that represent the entire community in a fresh and truthful way.
