Finley is a blue-collar writer-director from Portland, Oregon with a serious penchant for hard-hitting, personal storytelling rooted in the struggle of everyday people.
Finley cut his teeth in production management at the groundbreaking animation company LAIKA Studios, where he worked his way up from getting coffees to running the shooting floor as Assistant Director on award-winning films such as the BAFTA-winning Kubo and the Two strings and the Golden Globe-winning Missing Link.
He more recently set out with his twin brother (and partner in crime) Quinn Mulligan, to take down Wall St. in their directorial debut "Apes Together Strong," a feature-length documentary about the "Reddit Revolution" behind the Gamestop short squeeze of 2021.
Finley and his brother are currently working on several exciting new projects, each one pushing boundaries and bending genres in their own twin-like way.
