Emily is an LA-based comedy writer originally from St. Louis Park, Minnesota. She graduated from NYU Tisch with a degree in TV Writing. She has written for NO GOOD NICK (Netflix), WELCOME TO FLATCH (Fox) and GHOSTS (CBS). She was also an on-set joke writer for the feature film, BLOCKERS.
INHERITED
INHERITED is a half-hour comedy that follows Maggie, a wayward millennial who, through a Mormon genealogy site cosmic loophole, accidentally conjures her great-grandmother straight from a 1915 dairy farm.
WEIRD GRIEF
Karen and Lorraine have a few things in common: they're in their late fifties, they wish they wintered in Florida, and they both had a relationship with the same recently-deceased man. When this wife and mistress finally meet and form an unlikely friendship in their weird grief, they discover who they really are and eventually find the perfect partner in each other.
