Elisa Suárez

Elisa Suárez (she/her) is an ambitious emerging writer from Portland, OR, currently based in Los Angeles, CA. She studied creative writing at the University of San Francisco, with an emphasis on writing for screen. In May 2021, Elisa was selected as one of 100 individuals to take part in the annual Academy Gold Rising program, a global talent development and inclusion initiative that provides creative individuals of diverse backgrounds access and resources to achieving their career pathways in filmmaking. She has also read professionally for the 2022 Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship. Elisa's work can be described as understated comedy/drama storytelling, with a focus on uplifting underrepresented stories that are often left out of the commercial film world.
