Eli Kaplan is a writer and comedian based in Providence, Rhode Island. He has performed with improv, stand-up, and sketch groups in the RI area as well as in Northern California. He is passionate about writing stories that reflect his experience as a queer, hearing disabled person.
Kaplan studies at Brown University and is currently employed at HBO in their original comedy programming department. His script BAHA Blast, a (semi-autographic) story about a student who drunkenly loses a hearing aid, won best undergraduate screenplay at the Ivy Film Festival, and is currently in production.
