The product of of a first-generation Moslem Albanian father and a Protestant mother in Waterbury, CT, once the "Brass City." Educated at an all-girls Catholic convent school, an all-girls boarding school, I earned a B.A. in Art History & Film (when editing was cut and splice) from Vassar College and have taken further classes at The Actors Studio/The New School, UCLA and NYU. I’ve worked across the arts and entertainment fields from CNN to Comedy Central to SNL and CAA to Virgin Records before pushed out of the working world by marriage and motherhood. But now I'm back for Act 2 and ready for my close-up.
