Biography

Edgar Momplaisir is a comedian, writer, and performer born in New York City, partially raised in McAllen,TX and now based in Los Angeles. Alongside performing with Harold team LeRoy and indie darlings Arcade Currency, Edgar enjoys writing and directing short films. He's been an artist-in-residence at the Echo Park Film Center, a Sundance New Voices Lab Fellow, and has won awards for his short films. Edgar co-hosted and hosted the popular podcasts, Culture Kings (iHeartRadio) and The Wokest (Earwolf). Edgar has written for Black-ish, Dear White People, the Fox show What Just Happened with Fred Savage, and the 71st Primetime Emmys.
