David Ciccarelli's indigenous drama "Taino" was ranked #1 for the Black List's western script lists and advanced in the Austin Film Festival, Launch Pad, Screencraft, Filmmatic, and Page International screenplay contests. His satirical screenplay "Civic Virtue" was a quarterfinalist in the Nicholl Fellowship and Scriptapalooza contests, as well as a second rounder in the AFF. Before that, his science fiction script "The Alpha Six" ranked first on the Triggerstreet Production website. While a student at Boston University, his award-winning screenplay "Hospitality" was made into a short film.
Mr. Ciccarelli is also the author of the middle grade monster book "The No Such Things," the picture book "Don't Eat That!" and the science fiction novel "Mesh: Book One." In addition to writing, Mr. Ciccarelli has worked as a movie trailer editor, background actor, production assistant, and high school history teacher. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife, two sons, and two dogs.
