"I love all genres of story telling and expression. The most compelling books, movies, and shows defy genre and give you character. It's usually surprising and always grounded in emotion. That is the essence of what I strive for in my writing. I want to give viewers and readers something they have no choice but to connect with. The stories that have stuck with me the most are the ones I didn't see coming. Every time I write, I aim to give others that kind of experience."
