Charly Forrester, first of her name, last of her blood, was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and her roots in Salt Lake go back 7 generations. She first found her passion for writing by starting a mystery writing club in fifth grade. Charly has volunteered with the Sundance Film Festival and once pounded the pavement for Salt Lake’s longest-running alt weekly. She has a deep connection to the true story of Dexter Moormeister and her sister Amelia, women raised in the LDS Church who search for their own versions of female liberation.
