Carla Kanthak

Carla is a Chicago based writer who began her professional writing career as a researcher, writer and presenter for nominations of properties to The National Register of Historic Places. She has worked in theater productions as stage manager and lighting designer. Carla studied screenwriting through DePaul University, University of Chicago, Northwestern University and The Screenwriters Group. She has co-written six screenplays with Carl Zittrer. Their screenplay "Claus Encounter" was a finalist in the ScreenCraft 2020 Animation Competition. "Magician of Light" Quarter Finalist ScreenCraft 2019 Public Domain Screenplay Competition. "Ex-Husband in Trunk" Quarter Finalist 2018 ScreenCraft 2018 Drama Screenplay Competition.

Carl Zittrer is a Pittsburg based writer, film music supervisor and editor. He won an Emmy Award for his work on HBO "Tuskegee Airman." He was also honored with a Genie Award for "A Christmas Story" and "Murder by Decree". Zittrer is also a jazz musician and his ragtime piano skills have contributed to - "Houdini" "Boardwalk Empire" and Amazon Prime Video series "A League of Their Own." Zittrer's Music Editing credits include - "Moonstruck" "Selena" "Dance with Me" "New Jack City" "Another Day in Paradise".
