I'm a married father of two. I reside in South Orange, New Jersey. I'm an attorney and an aspiring author. I am not yet published in the literary field but recently completed my first novel, which I am currently submitting. I have written additional short stories and essays as well, including a short story about this screenplay which is currently being submitted for publication. This is my first screenplay, but more are on the way.
BEACON BEYOND THE BAY
In 1968 China, Wei and May Ling, desperate and determined as they were, decided to take the perilous journey from Guangzhou to a beach in Shenzhen where they would confront a treacherous, eight-hour swim through Deep Bay, a shark infested, powerful body of water, in hopes they would reach the shores of Hong Kong, the shores of their freedom (based on a true story).
