Biography
Amaka Orji is a First-Gen Nigerian American comedic writer from Jackson, NJ. She currently works as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and recently completed Television Writing Certification at UCLA Extension. Amaka has completed both improv and sketch writing under UCB. She was also a writer on the NYC-based BoogieManja. Amaka enjoys exploring serious topics with a comedic spin and absurdity.

After getting discharged from a psychiatric hospital, a depressed and socially anxious woman attempts to reintegrate herself into society and do something she's always wanted: make friends without exposing her mental illness.
