Alfred Cool

Alfred Cool has written eight novels, a TV 1-hour dramatic pilot based on his unique experiences during actual events, showcasing the character of the coast and the real people who make it a great place to live. Al has also published award-winning short stories set on the B.C. coast. Before he attended Simon Fraser University to pursue an English degree, Al was a west coast logger. Al also enjoyed a lengthy career as a computer technologist and taught privately and as a college instructor. As only a local can, Al brings to life through compelling and uniquely West Coast, real stories, the raw and bold characters living where Canada’s mountains meet Earth’s greatest ocean.
