Considering the priestly, scouting, “Weinstein-types” reported every week, the relevancy, the timeliness of this work has what the public needs, wants to see, to try and understand: the invisible impact of sexual abuse on its victims which rests hidden deep in their souls, often masked, but always an open, bleeding wound. Hidden Persona exposes a victim no longer able to suppress the pain, trying to eliminate(murder)the predator and an accomplice. Even when finding true love, which our main character thought impossible to achieve, she cannot shed the bottomless pit of psychological damage. This story does not have a happy ending. Like those who conceal the torment of abuse our character loses her family, her newfound love, her life. But, what does she gain by the end of this story: she rests.
