Adriana Alexandrova

Born in Rousse, Bulgaria, grown in Chicago, and educated between New York City, Florence, and Copenhagen, Adriana Alexandrova hasn’t yet met a city she hasn’t fallen in love with. Aside from exercising her talent for finding the most atmospheric streets and local cafes when traveling, she spends her time climbing rocks natural and plastic, lurking on Formula 1 racing forums, and keeping an eye out for hidden street art. Oh yes, and she writes stories for the screen, mostly as an excuse to research her obsessions and curiosities and to convince others to love them just as much as she does. She especially loves urban and immigrant coming of age stories, nuanced character dramas, and a good vigilante to root for.

My writing for both film and tv has placed into Quarterfinals and above at the Nicholl Fellowship, Nashville Film Festival, We Screenplay's Diverse Voices Lab and a variety of other screenwriting competitions.
