Jackie and Jennifer Moricz grew up in the small, coastal town of Biloxi, Mississippi. Raised on MTV and obsessed with all things 80s. Jackie and Jennifer are Alumni of Florida State University's Film School.
With their focus on female voices, they were Shortlisted for the 2020 WIF/Black List Episodic Lab with the pilot THE BIKINI GUEST, and made the Top 20% Austin Film Festival 2020 with the pilot, KATE PORN. THE BIKINI GUEST is also ranked #1 on Coverfly's The Red List .
On the feature side, their script, SUNTAN MOTEL, is ranked #30 on the Blacklist as well as many other of their pilots and features.
They currently reside in Lexington, Kentucky where they write stories infused with an 80s aesthetic and a Soderbergh/David Lynch twist.
