Biography

My name is Carmelo Nucera alias Burattino. I am a writer, a Tv producer and a Video reporter.

As a writer I wrote two books : "Inshallah, the power of love" and "The lost diva of Mussolini".

"Inshallah, the power of love". In this contemporary Romeo and Juliet story in Los Angeles, John - a Christian Iraq War veteran with a troubled past - and Arzu - a devout Muslim woman - fall in love but the two must face off against Ahmed - a dangerous sleeper cell terrorist who is mad about Arzu - and a world that does not want them to be together because of surrounding cultural prejudices.

"The lost diva of Mussolini" In Rome, Italy, 1940, Wartime : during the last years of Mussolini's Era, a bad girl named Nanà kills, blackmails and exchanges sexual favors to attain her obsession, to become the most famous movie star in the Italian Fascist Cinema. Thanks to Mussolini's help, Nanà becomes a super rich and powerful woman. While she fulfills her dream Nanà loses her beauty, her power, her mind, and all her money and her life during Mussolini's collapsing Regime.

As a Tv producer I have written and produced "Today we eat Sicilian" a cooking-show aired in Italy and also in abroad where 10 Italian Chefs explain how to prepare 97 typical recipes of traditional Sicilian cuisine.

As a Video reporter I have made shots of several events and celebrations here in Italy working as freelance and cooperating with TVs and news agencies
