Denise Jaxon

Denise Jaxon's TV pilot script, TEN MILES TO SUNSET, received an 8 rating on The Black List, scoring in the top 5% of all scripts evaluated on the site. It earned her a spot in the Women In Film/Blacklist Episodic Lab, a finalist in the Google Computer Science Education in Media Fellowship, second round finalist in the Fox Writers Lab and an invitation from Sundance to enter their Television Writers Lab 2nd round. Her web series, DOUBLE CROSS, was picked up by the streaming service Koldcast TV, and her stage play PROGRESS AND PEACE, was produced by The Robey Theater Company and performed at the Los Angeles Theater Center to sold out crowds. Ed Asner, seven time Emmy Award winner, starred in her play, THE PHOTO THAT CAME IN THE FRAME. Denise lives in Los Angeles, and serves as President of her Neighborhood Council, an advisory body to LA City Council, where she advocates for the stakeholders of her South Los Angeles community.
